Job summary

NYC Department of Social Services is hiring a Community Coordinator to oversee NYCBenefits grantees and supervise outreach and enrollment activities at 4 World Trade Center, New York, NY. The role reports to the CBO Grants Director and involves collaboration with agency partners to improve benefits access.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5, with duties including program evaluation, capacity-building trainings, and development of referral networks between community organizations and DHS/HRA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of community work experience.
• High school diploma and six years of community work experience.
• Equivalent education and experience with at least one year of relevant work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor NYCBenefits grantees delivering outreach and enrollment.
• Coordinate outreach work and develop innovative strategies with partners.
• Prepare program evaluation reports based on site visits and data.
• Facilitate trainings and provide technical assistance on outreach tools.
• Develop and maintain referrals between CBOs and agency programs.
