Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is hiring a Community Food Program Coordinator in Tampa, FL. You will coordinate the day-to-day administration and operation of USDA meal programs (CCFP, AMP, SFSP) across club and partner sites, and support food pantries and events.

You will lead site staff training on meal service and safety, work with vendors, and ensure program compliance while collaborating with the Community Food Program Director.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multi-site operations, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel between sites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Model the mission and policies of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay.
  • Support program growth by evaluating community needs and capacity.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and stewardship of resources.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of USDA meal programs (CCFP, AMP, SFSP).
  • Train staff on meal service procedures, recordkeeping, and safety.
  • Maintain relationships with staff, partners, and vendors.
  • Provide administrative support for food pantries and events.
