Job summary

Advent Talent Group is seeking a Food Market Intake Worker to support families facing food insecurity in Saint Paul, MN. You will conduct participant intakes, connect families with community resources, assist with market operations, and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes inclusion, hospitality, and teamwork in a fast-paced, community-focused nonprofit setting. On-site location in St. Paul, full-time schedule, and contract employment are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, community services, nonprofit organizations, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse backgrounds.
• Passion for serving individuals and families and connecting them with resources.
• Basic computer skills, data entry, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews for households accessing food support services.
• Gather participant information and maintain accurate records in Client Track.
• Answer questions about food access, eligibility, and resources; connect to internal/community services.
• Deliver services with focus on inclusion, accessibility, and hospitality.
