Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, assess, and design personalized therapy plans for patients with speech and language needs. You will track progress, modify treatments as needed, and celebrate patient milestones in a supportive inpatient setting.

Required are state licensure and CCC certification; CPR is needed or obtainable within 30 days. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant field experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
