Job summary

Encompass Health in the United States is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, document progress, and contribute to a collaborative team.

A Master's degree is preferred; licensure and CCC are required or obtainable. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. This role offers opportunities to impact patients and advance in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or eligibility.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
