Job summary

Metro West Housing Solutions in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support multiple properties and assist the Property Manager across operations, leasing, and compliance. A strong customer service mindset and the ability to build relationships with tenants are essential.

Responsibilities include marketing plans, leasing processes from application through move-in, rent collection, and coordinating with Resident Services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education is required.
• 1 year experience in Property Management or Leasing is required.
• Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office are required.
• Bilingual language skills in Spanish is a plus.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Property Manager on all facets of management at multiple properties.
• Oversees management during Property Manager absences.
• Assist with marketing plans to maintain occupancy.
• Assists with leasing from application to move-in and resident orientation.
• Maintains compliance documentation and secures compliance approvals for moves and recertifications.
• Assists in managing financial activities including rent collection and delinquent accounts.
• Responds to tenant concerns and resolves issues per MWHS customer service standards.
• Processes work orders and monitors unit turnarounds.
• Conducts property inspections for quality of work.
• Maintains maintenance logs and inventories; rents community spaces.
• Prepares required reports under Property Manager direction.
• Delivers notices to residents as needed.
• Follows fair housing and landlord-tenant laws.
• Attends training for growth.
• Collaborates with Resident Services Coordinators to support community development.
• Hosts local events with MWHS staff.
