Job summary

Savannah Toyota seeks a Social Media Specialist to lead content creation and distribution across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. You will craft text, photography, graphics, and video that reflect the dealership’s values and community, while maintaining a consistent posting schedule and timely, customer-focused content.

You will build relationships with local organizations, cover events, produce employee spotlights, and create engaging short-form video for multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in social media, marketing, communications, photography, video, or content creation.
• Strategic thinking applies social media and marketing knowledge to meet dealership goals, not just posting.
• Proactive initiative; seek stories, people, events, trends and content opportunities without waiting for tasks.
• Collaboration with departments, vendors, and leadership.
• Problem solving; adjust content or strategy as needed.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and storytelling to turn everyday moments into engaging content.
• Content creation using smartphone photography and basic video tools.
• Analytics to interpret performance and guide content decisions.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management across Savannah Toyota's platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more.
• Create and publish engaging text, photography, graphics, and video reflecting the dealership and community.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule, ensure content is timely, customer-focused, and platform-appropriate.
• Respond to comments and messages promptly, escalating concerns as needed.
• Develop monthly content plans aligned with holidays, events, promotions, and community activities.
• Cultivate community storytelling by featuring local businesses and events.
• Attend events to capture high-quality photos and video for live or follow-up content.
• Create employee spotlight content and dealership culture features.
• Produce short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
• Evaluate website content for brand accuracy and updates with stakeholders.
• Collaborate in marketing meetings and contribute ideas for campaigns.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and insights from analytics.
• Maintain consistent brand voice across platforms and content.
