UTHealth Houston is seeking a Community/Research Liaison to support community-based research and outreach initiatives. You will interview participants in the field, build relationships with diverse communities, and assist with recruitment, data collection, and lab operations under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No advanced degree required.

Responsabilités

• Interviews study participants and builds rapport to encourage complete, accurate responses and continuing participation in the study.
• Contacts potential study participants for recruitment and scheduling for a research study.
• Enters and codes information for research projects for entry into the database.
• Gathers data for study-related needs.
• Under supervision, refers study participants to the appropriate physician or healthcare practitioner according to study policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Handles administrative details, including logging time and mileage reports.
• May utilize equipment as trained by the project manager or principal investigator to obtain the required information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
