Job summary

Apartment Life in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time Events and Ministry Coordinator (Coordinator of Resident Services) to execute the service plan for one community. You will plan monthly programs, host resident events/workshops, and collaborate with the on-site staff to meet community needs.

The role requires coordinating 2–3 events monthly, updating resident resource lists, and connecting residents to local services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services.
• Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 2–3 events/workshops each month to promote social engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability.
• Update a list of helpful resources for residents monthly for rent assistance, food assistance, and other needs.
• Meet with residents with specific needs and help connect them to local resources.
• Partner with community businesses to provide holistic activities.
• Communicate effectively with onsite staff and AL supervisor.
• Report activity and impact each month.
• Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create programs that fit each community's needs.
• Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth.
• Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources.
• Share information about rental, food, and other assistance programs.
• Ensure all activities run smoothly.
• Communicate regularly with onsite staff.
• Meet weekly with your supervisor to review program and goals.
• Submit monthly reports on activities and impact
