The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce seeks an energetic Events & Membership Coordinator to strengthen community ties, grow membership, and lead memorable events in Ashland, Wisconsin. This full-time position requires strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to work evenings and weekends during events and peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, sales, customer relations, or community engagement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable working with businesses, sponsors, and the public.
• Self-motivated, positive, and team-oriented.
• Experience with sponsorships, fundraising, or revenue generation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support high-impact events that attract visitors and boost the local economy.
• Develop relationships with members, sponsors, and community partners.
• Coordinate event logistics, staffing, and vendor relations.
• Promote the chamber's mission and increase revenue through events.
• Occasional evening and weekend work during events and peak seasons.
