Job summary

Jenks Public Schools seeks an Event Manager for the Jenks Community Education program in Jenks, Oklahoma. This position reports to the Community Education Director or Assistant Director of Athletics and supervises no one. Starting date is immediate under a temporary contract.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and strong interpersonal skills for working with participants, families, and staff. Evening and weekend events may be required.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with participants, families, and staff.
• Ability to represent Jenks Public Schools with integrity and respect.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and positive environment for Community Education groups.
• Monitor facilities to ensure participants stay in designated areas and equipment is well-maintained.
• Answer questions regarding site, programs, schedules, or equipment, and notify the program coordinator if needed.
• Ensure all sites and facilities are clean, secure, and properly closed after use.
• Support the coordinator to reconcile funds and ensure moneybags reach their locations securely.
• Notify the program coordinator or director of problems in a timely manner.
