Job summary

Jenks Public Schools seeks an Assistant Coach for Boys Volleyball in Jenks, Oklahoma. This Community Education position is a temporary contract under the Athletics program, reporting to the Director of Community Education and the Athletic staff.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Experience in coaching students.
Knowledge of volleyball strategy and techniques.
Ability to interact positively with students, parents, and staff.
Represent Jenks Public Schools with integrity.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, development, and execution of the high school boys volleyball program by focusing on building a positive culture and developing quality relationships with student athletes and parents.
Assist in implementing sound practices and skill development that maximizes student athlete performance in volleyball in collaboration with the head coach.
Communicate effectively with all program stakeholders to ensure a positive, quality experience for student athletes.
Collaborate with the coordinator, assistant coordinator and the Booster Club.
Assist in providing direction and evaluation of youth coaches and teams to develop vertical alignment throughout the program.
