Friends of the Detroit River in Taylor, MI is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and deliver community-focused events across the Detroit River watershed. You'll coordinate logistics, recruit volunteers, and build partnerships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and municipal partners.

Formación

• 2–4 years of event coordination or related experience.
• Experience coordinating projects from planning through completion including timelines and logistics.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with diverse communities.
• Good judgment, reliability, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate event logistics, schedules, registrations, and budgets.
• Recruit, orient, and communicate with volunteers and partners; build relationships with schools and community organizations.
• Deliver programs, outreach, and creative event ideas aligned with FDR priorities.
• Maintain participant, volunteer, and event records; gather feedback and report results.
