Job summary

Fairfield County’s Area 20 Workforce Development Board seeks an organized, community‑minded team member to support OhioMeansJobs centers in Fairfield and Pickaway Counties. You will greet customers, assist with resumes and job search activities, and help with unemployment issues in a resource room setting.

The role also involves engaging with employers, coordinating pre‑employment testing, and promoting services at community events.

Qualifications

• Experience in career development, workforce planning, or workforce development preferred.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Detail oriented and organized with good time management.
• Ability to create and edit documents using Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Support OhioMeansJobs centers in Fairfield and Pickaway Counties with Resource Room coverage.
• Greet customers and assist with resumes, job search activities, and unemployment issues.
• Engage with major employers and assist with pre-employment assessments.
• Promote OhioMeansJobs services at community events and facilitate workshops.
• Act as community liaison and connect job seekers to career services.
• Coordinate onsite testing with employers and relay results to stakeholders.
