Job summary

ServiceSource is seeking a Community Support Specialist to plan and implement person-centered activities, enabling participants to safely engage in community activities. The role includes training in social, leisure, and life skills, with transport coordination and record-keeping.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Knowledge of community activities and resources.
• Ability to navigate and use public transportation, Uber, and/or Lyft.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities in the community aligned with participants’ service plans.
• Provide training and guidance for social, leisure, recreation, and life skills.
• Maintain records, session notes, and monthly invoices for participants.
