Job summary

EmblemHealth is seeking a Community Engagement professional to implement the department's strategic plan by representing the company in diverse New York communities and building strategic partnerships for events and brand positioning.

The role focuses on engaging with community partners, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering measurable outcomes to support growth and retention objectives across EmblemHealth's NY-based brands.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Excellent team collaborator with ability to build coalitions internally and externally
• Working knowledge of/experience with the New York metro area and its diverse communities

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for connecting EmblemHealth with communities through community partners to develop events and opportunities for growth
• Serve as a primary contact for EmblemHealth in the community and execute events
• Generate event related data and manage administrative tasks including sponsorship proposals, invoices and inventory
• Interact professionally with community partners representing the brand and the business' interests
• Maintain communication with clinical partners, hospitals and FQHCs supporting community engagement strategy
