Healthfirst is seeking a Community Relations Specialist to connect New York communities with health‑insurance resources and information. You will build lasting partnerships, manage community events, and tell the story of collaborations to drive impact and equity.

The role requires 4–5 years in community relations, willingness to travel across Queens and Long Island, and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with community partners, organizations, and stakeholders.
• Create and foster partnerships to drive impact and company growth.
• Manage community engagement activities and events in assigned territories.
• Identify opportunities to highlight stories from collaborations.
• Create reports and present plans and status updates to leaders.
• Document team impact through storytelling and tracking in systems.
• Track partnerships and events in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify community needs and opportunities.
• Plan and execute community events, initiatives, and programs.
• Act as liaison between Healthfirst and the community.
• Monitor and evaluate engagement efforts and initiatives.
• Provide support to community members seeking information.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
