Job summary

Family Building Blocks in Salem, Oregon seeks a Community Engagement Manager to lead outreach, build partnerships, and mobilize volunteers and donors. This role will serve as a visible ambassador and help strengthen community support for our programs.

The position emphasizes relationship-building, public speaking, and coordinating community drives, events, and partnerships with schools, faith groups, and local leaders.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and donor cultivation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses, community groups, schools, faith-based organizations, and civic leaders.
• Represent Family Building Blocks at community meetings, speaking engagements, presentations, and outreach events.
• Serve as the lead contact for community drives including Diaper Drive and Hope for the Holidays.
• Cultivate volunteers, supporters and community contacts into long-term advocates and donors.
• Coordinate community tours and presentations in collaboration with the Volunteer Manager.
• Support the collection and stewardship of in-kind donations benefiting FBB families.
