Job summary

Neighborhood Legal Services (Pennsylvania) is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to cultivate strategic partnerships, raise community awareness, and oversee outreach and engagement activities across the four-county service area. The role represents NLS and aligns to the organization’s mission to improve access to justice for client communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; extensive outreach experience may be substituted.
• Proven ability to manage community outreach and partnerships.
• Experience with presenting to diverse community groups.
• Ability to travel within 4 county service area.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a community impact plan focusing on access to justice and equity.
• Cultivate volunteer and partner relationships to advance NLS mission.
• Lead educational sessions with community members and stakeholders.
• Create outreach materials (PowerPoints, flyers, newsletters, social posts).
• Schedule and coordinate events and NLS participation; maintain internal calendar.
