AECOM in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist II to support public outreach for infrastructure projects across Wisconsin and nationwide. The role collaborates with Project Managers to map stakeholders, develop engagement plans, and create communications materials.

You will host in-person and virtual events, draft content for press and social channels, and help manage feedback while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field and 2 years of public relations or related communications experience or equivalent.
• Experience in transportation/engineering/infrastructure a plus.
• 4+ years in communications, community or stakeholder engagement preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborates with Project Managers on strategies, best practices, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develops communications and public outreach plans to increase community participation.
• Maps key stakeholders and community profiles for client projects.
• Creates core messages and collateral for diverse audiences including media and local communities.
• Plans and executes in-person and virtual events and public meetings, handling logistics and vendors.
• Drafts content for press releases, social media, and newsletters for review by Project Manager.
