Job summary

Fenway Health is seeking a Community Engagement Associate to support outreach, education, and partnerships across Greater Boston. You will build relationships with community partners, represent Fenway Health at events, and deliver culturally responsive health education to diverse populations.

Role involves travel in the Greater Boston area to strengthen community ties, coordinate events, and promote Fenway Without Walls, telehealth, and walk-in services while advancing equity in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of community engagement, health equity, and social drivers of health.
• Ability to communicate complex health information clearly and culturally responsive.
• 1–3 years in community outreach or related fields.
• Experience delivering culturally responsive health education or presentations.
• Experience building relationships with community organizations and leaders.
• Experience coordinating outreach events or community programming.
• Ability to work independently in community settings with internal collaboration.
• Commitment to equity, anti-racism, and community-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements community education, outreach, and engagement goals and programming.
• Represents Fenway Health at events to raise awareness of services and partnerships.
• Provides culturally responsive health education on LGBTQIA+ health, HIV, reproductive health, and more.
• Educates about expanded care options including telehealth and extended hours.
• Identifies opportunities to expand partnerships and reduce barriers to care.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates outreach plans using community feedback.
