This position supports a vibrant alliance of synagogues, community volunteers, and Jewish organizations across Greater Philadelphia through its Kehillot (communities). The role involves relational engagement, leadership development, donor prospecting, event support, and communication within three Kehillot: Center City Philadelphia, Northeast Philadelphia, and the Old York Road corridor.
The Community Engagement Manager will work full-time, at least 35 hours per week, focusing on building relationships, identifying prospects, overseeing leadership teams, and coordinating community events. Qualifications include strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, experience in project management, familiarity with Jewish traditions, and proficiency with digital tools. Experience in the Philadelphia Jewish community and ability to work evenings and weekends are preferred.
