Job summary

Mineral County Library in Nevada seeks a dedicated library staff member to deliver high-quality public service, manage circulation, support reference requests, and assist in program planning.

You will work with staff, the Library Board, and community partners to provide outreach, manage collections, maintain the ILS and website, and deliver technical support and training for staff and patrons.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional library services and collection development.
• Experience with library automation systems and ILS operations.
• Excellent English communication; ability to instruct staff and public.
• Ability to work with diverse patrons and partners in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provides circulation services and handles holds and fines.
• Delivers reference services in person, by phone, and online.
• Coordinates Children and Adult services and programs.
• Assists with collection development and materials selection.
• Updates library records and maintains the ILS.
• Maintains the library website and coordinates outreach.
