Job summary

The City of North Las Vegas invites applications for a Library Development Manager who will lead the development function for the North Las Vegas Library District. You will collaborate with FRIENDS groups, manage grants, oversee volunteers, and guide bookstore operations to support library growth.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or closely related field; Master’s degree desired.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative level experience in program support, grant-writing, nonprofit management and/or nonprofit bookkeeping, including two (2) years overseeing program operations.
• Equivalency: Seven (7) years of combined education, training, and experience to satisfy the functions.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the development function.
• Collaborates with FRIENDS, grants management, volunteer programs, and bookstore management.
• Oversees district-wide development initiatives, partnerships, projects, programs, and committees.
