Job summary

Reporting to Corps Officers, this role oversees volunteers, special events, and community partnerships, directing development strategies to support Salvation Army services and mission in the region. Strong communication, budget oversight, and collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in a related field; significant experience may be considered in lieu of.
• Three to five years of experience in fundraising/public relations and event planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and handling budgets.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising with corps Officers, cultivating donor relationships and coordinating reporting.
• Plan, organize and execute fundraising and volunteer events.
• Lead public relations and media efforts, including social media and press outreach.
• Provide administrative oversight: volunteer management, training, and program reporting.
• Develop strategic fundraising plans with Advisory Board and staff partners.
