Qualifications

• Extensive experience with local political and stakeholder engagement.
• BS/BA from an accredited college program.
• 5+ years’ work experience in local economic or real estate project development and/or renewable energy.
• Ability to spend approximately 50% of time traveling.

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy in meetings with local officials, landowners, and other stakeholders in public meetings.
• Explain benefits of projects to host community members.
• Negotiate and obtain local approvals required for project development.
• Lead development and implementation of a structured community relations program aligned with project priorities and partnerships.
• Monitor local project opposition and educate key individuals to mitigate opposition.
• Coordinate with local counties and government groups.
