Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or journalism or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with historically underserved communities is highly desired.
• Experience in customer or client service and/or the public sector is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of communications and community engagement plans to reach historically underserved populations.
• Support equitable engagement efforts including diverse communities in decision-making.
• Convey project information at in-person events including evenings and weekends.
• Coordinate logistics for participation in regional public events and meetings.
• Plan and staff virtual and in-person meetings and events, including some evenings/weekends.
• Draft newsletters, press releases, fact sheets, and content for webinars/websites.
