Job summary

Her Song is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator in Miami to build relationships with donors, churches, volunteers, and community partners. The role emphasizes public speaking, fundraising strategy, and partnerships to support programming.

You will lead volunteer development, coordinate with regional teams, track budgets and metrics, and expand partnerships with local businesses and influencers to grow support for the Miami region.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build a strategy around relationships with donors, churches, and volunteers to grow support each year.
• Establish connections with local influencers and donors to fund the Miami regional budget.
• Create a network of contacts at local churches to partner and support the mission.
• Develop community relationships to build reliable volunteerism and partnerships.
• Represent Her Song through public speaking and engagement at donor dinners and large events.
• Build relationships with local businesses to resource survivor care and outreach.
• Leverage partnerships to expand the mission of Her Song and the Tim Tebow Foundation.
• Collaborate with regional residential and outreach teams on needs and weekly/monthly rhythms.
• Work with teams to meet needs during program growth and expansion.
• Track budgets, metrics, and monthly expenses; create and execute fundraising plans.
• Manage local social media with marketing team; support national fundraising locally.
• Engage volunteers via trainings and recruitment; schedule and communications with staff.
• Screen and vet volunteers; host onsite workdays.
• Maintain volunteer participation rhythms with established networks.
• Handoff communications as liaison to program staff.

LocationMiami, FLThe CEC reports to: The National Engagement ManagerIn Office Hours: 3days working at home and 2day in the office on average.Most days will be spent meeting out in the community with stakeholders.Working Relationships: Includes, but not limited to, other CECs in Her Song's cities, National Engagement Manager, National Operations Director, National Residential Manager, Marketing and Communications Coordinator and ManagerJob Brief:The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) is a classic relationship builder and fundraiser, poised in communication public speaking and presentations, is skilled in cultivating partnerships with the community, the church, and local and national businesses, and able to build community collaborations. TheCECwill be responsible for forging relationships with key stakeholders to meet a full spectrum of needs including finances, volunteers, health services, education services, and community support for all programming.**Responsibilities:**Community Engagement:* Build a strategy around relationships with a local network of donors, churches, and volunteers to focus on continuing to build support increasing each year* Establish connections with local influencer and donors to form a base of giving to directly support the Miami regional annual budget* Create a network of contacts at local churches willing to strategically partner to support the mission* Develop community relationships to form a reliable base of volunteerism to support network to assist with awareness and strategic partnerships to advance the mission of Her Song and the Tim Tebow Foundation* Represent Her Song through public speaking and presentation engagement within the community from donor dinners to large events* Build relationships with local businesses and relevant partners in order to resource survivor care and outreach* Seek opportunities to leverage new and existing partnerships to expand the mission of the organizationResidential Collaboration:* Collaborate with regional residential and outreach team on overall needs, engaging in team dynamics, offers extra support and participating in weekly and monthly meeting rhythms.* Works alongside residential and outreach teams to meet needs during program growth and expansionAnalysis & Planning:* Tracks budgets, metrics, in-kind reporting, and monthly expenses.* Responsible for creating and executing a fundraising strategy based on short and long term goals.Marketing & Communication:* Help manage and maintain local social media presence via LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram by working closely with our internal marketing team* Support Her Song Marketing team in national fundraising initiatives that are executed at a local levelVolunteer Development:* Work with regional residential and outreach team to engage volunteers, hosting trainings through out the year based on program needs* Regularly collaborate on the volunteer needs of the program to create a rhythm of volunteer participation from established networks* Screen and vet all volunteer applicants* Host onsite volunteer workdays* Manage volunteer scheduling and communications as liaison to program staffOther Areas of Responsibility:* Ability to work as a team both locally and nationally to move the fundraising efforts of the organization forward* Any other tasks as needed**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree with business focus or equal experience preferred* Competency in donor relations, public relations* Strong logistic and administrative skills* Public speaking and boardroom experience* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written* Proficient computer skills
