Job summary

Trillium Employment Services in Auburn, WA is hiring a full-time Employment Consultant to help people with disabilities secure meaningful work in the community. You will build relationships with employers, coach clients on job skills, and coordinate with families and funders.

This nonprofit offers generous benefits and a competitive hourly salary range of $25.71–$30.00 with longevity steps. A valid WA driver's license and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Respectful approach to people with disabilities and coaching experience preferred.
• Outgoing and confident in approaching local businesses.
• Ability to relate to diverse situations and individuals.
• Self-directed with a transparent calendar and ability to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License and access to a private vehicle.
• Ability to pass a Washington State criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop jobs for people with disabilities by determining their individual skills.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure success.
• Generate leads of potential employers for job placements.
• Onsite visits to check with supported employee and employer at regular intervals.
• Facilitate further training or coaching to assist both parties.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and progress documentation.
• Manage caseload and monthly service hours; develop weekly schedule.
• Implement transportation and accommodation solutions as needed.
