Job summary

The Arc Eastern Connecticut seeks a Job Coach in Woodstock, CT to train, supervise, and support individuals with disabilities in the community, tailored to employment needs. You will adhere to Arc policies and ensure safety, confidentiality, and participant advocacy.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm; 40 hours weekly. Opportunity for advancement and community-based supports are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Public service license must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• CPR, Medication Administration, and First Aid certifications required for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized supports and advocacy to persons with IDD to foster inclusion.
• Trains, supervises, and supports program participants in employment-related activities.
• Maintains safety and confidentiality per Arc and DDS policies.
