Job summary

The Arc Eastern Connecticut is seeking a Job Coach in Woodstock, CT to train, supervise, and support individuals with disabilities in community employment. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and adherence to Arc policies.

You will coordinate transportation, build employer connections, and maintain written assessments and service plans. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required to support participants effectively.

Qualifications

• Public service license within 90 days of hire; CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and assist with lifts/transfers as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with access to insured vehicle or transportation resources.

Responsibilities

• Trains, supervises, and supports individuals with disabilities in the community employment setting.
• Provides transportation to job sites using Arc vehicle or community resources.
• Develops, implements, and maintains written assessment records including service plans and reviews.
• Acts as liaison between worksites and The Arc and ensures confidentiality and safety.
• Advocates for participants’ rights and promotes inclusion.
