Job summary

Alliance for Aging in Miami, FL is seeking passionate Community Health Educators to lead in-person workshops for older adults. You will deliver 6–10 week programs on Falls Prevention, Chronic Disease Management, and Healthy, Active Living, partnering with senior centers and faith-based groups.

Alliance for Aging is seeking enthusiastic Community Health Educators to lead engaging, in-person workshops that support the physical, mental, and social well-being of older adults. In this role, you will facilitate evidence-based workshops (6–10 weeks) focused on Falls Prevention, Chronic Disease Management, and Healthy, Active Living. You’ll work with community partners such as senior centers, assisted living facilities, and faith-based organizations, helping participants gain practical tools to improve their quality of life. Requirements

Requirements & Preferred Experience

• Prior experience facilitating groups or educational sessions
• Availability to work primarily weekday hours.
• Interest in aging-related topics (e.g., dementia, chronic conditions, fall prevention, mental health, social engagement)
• Experience in community education or outreach preferred
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with local community resources is a plus
• Multilingual skills highly desirable
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
• Reliable transportation and commitment to scheduled workshops
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for up to two hours at a time
• Mobility required for in-person community settings
