Job summary

Benevilla in the Peoria/Sun City area seeks a Community Education & Engagement Coordinator to plan, coordinate, promote, and evaluate education initiatives for caregivers, older adults, and the wider community. This role oversees the Support Group Program and builds partnerships to expand services and events.

The ideal candidate will handle multiple projects, manage databases or CRM systems, present to groups, and collaborate with marketing to promote events across channels.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to the Peoria, Sun City, or Surprise area.
• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred but not required.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and progressively responsible experience will be considered.
• Experience coordinating logistics for community events, workshops or education programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
• Community outreach and partnership development experience.
• Experience working with databases or CRM systems, maintaining accurate records and data analytics.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through multiple channels.
• Comfort speaking in front of groups, including introducing speakers and presenting about Benevilla.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, promote, and evaluate Benevilla's community education initiatives.
• Manage administrative oversight of the Support Group Program.
• Coordinate educational programming, community relationships, and events for caregivers, older adults, and the community.
• Track program outcomes and identify opportunities for future program growth.
