Job Title:

Community Education Preschool Classroom Assistant ( M-Th) 4.5 hours a day ( Friday) 6.5 hours= 24.5 hours

Job Summary:

Assist classroom teacher in a preschool classroom. Preferred candidate will have experience working with young children. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably get up and down from a sitting position on the floor.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its GED equivalent.
• Desired candidate should have background/training in one or more of the following areas: child development, child guidance, human relations, communications and recreational programming.

Hours per day:

Dependent upon building location and work is only on student contact days.
