Job summary

Stillwater Area Public Schools seeks a Community Education Preschool Classroom Assistant to support learning in a preschool setting. The role is 4.5 hours on Monday–Thursday and 6.5 hours on Friday, totaling 24.5 hours per week, with a start date of 8/24/2026.

The ideal candidate has experience with young children, can lift up to 50 lbs, and is comfortable moving from floor activities. Salary ranges from $18.21 to $19.06 per hour, depending on district pay scales.

• Background/training in child development, child guidance, human relations, communications or recreational programming is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably get up and down from a sitting position on the floor.
