InCommunity is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Marietta, GA to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities and community participation. This part-time role supports health, safety, and personal routines within home and community settings.

The DSP will follow Individual Support Plans, assist with meals, transportation, and personal care, and coordinate with nurses and supervisors to ensure consistent, respectful care in line with our mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least six months experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, or aging services preferred.
• Personal or volunteer experience supporting individuals with disabilities may be considered.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards.

Responsabilités

• Support engagement and inclusion of individuals in activities and community events.
• Assist with ADLs such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
• Safely transport individuals and accompany them to medical appointments.
• Monitor health status and report concerns to supervisors or nursing staff.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean home environment.
