Job summary

Generations is seeking a Community Driver in Fort Collins to transport residents to/off-site activities using non-CDL vehicles. You’ll also perform daily vehicle cleaning, maintenance, and inspections to ensure safety and reliability for our senior living communities.

This part-time role offers weekend flexibility and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company that values compassion and teamwork. A current driver's license and prior driving experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Driver’s License.
• One or more years of experience driving others.
• Auto maintenance experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to/from off-site activities using community vehicles.
• Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of vehicles.
• Comply with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.

Job description

The Community Driver at Mercer Commons transports residents to/from off-site activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other off-site events using non-CDL community vehicles. The Community Driver ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles and complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.

Schedule

• Part-time, working 10-15 hours per week, schedule varies (Available for Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturdays between the hours of 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and Sundays between the hours of 7:00 am - 12:00 pm)
• Preference for weekend/holiday availability (typically working 1-2 weekend days per month)

Qualifications

• Experience in auto maintenance is helpful, but not required
• Must have a current Driver’s License.
• One or more years of experience driving others, or other related fields.
