Job summary

Generations is seeking a Community Driver in Fort Collins, CO. Part-time role (10-15 hours/week) with weekend/holiday availability to transport residents to activities and events in non-CDL community vehicles.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspection, basic maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. Experience driving others and a valid driver’s license are required. Generations offers PTO, benefits, and a supportive, family-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Driver’s License.
• One or more years of experience driving others or related fields.
• High School or better (HS Diploma/GED).

Responsibilities

• Transports residents to/from off-site activities using community vehicles.
• Maintains, cleans, inspects vehicles daily and reports issues.
• Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.

Description

The Community Driver at Mercer Commons transports residents to/from off-site activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other off-site events using non-CDL community vehicles. The Community Driver ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles and complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.

Schedule:

• Part-time, working 10-15 hours per week, schedule varies (Available for Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturdays between the hours of 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and Sundays between the hours of 7:00 am - 12:00 pm)
• Preference for weekend/holiday availability (typically working 1-2 weekend days per month)

Qualifications:

• Experience in auto maintenance is helpful, but not required
• Must have a current Driver’s License.
• One or more years of experience driving others, or other related fields.
