• Assist in the apprehension and arrest of law violators.
• Conduct initial investigations and some follow-up investigations for minor offenses.
• Prepare organized reports by hand and computer with proper grammar and spelling.
• Serve as backup to other officers and coordinate with dispatch.
• Investigate traffic collisions, issue citations, direct traffic, and participate in emergency operations.
• Perform court testimony, attend meetings, and participate in trainings.
• Perform other related duties as required.
