Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Be able to ride a bicycle and pass a bicycle certification course.
• Walk 4–8 miles daily, uneven terrain; lift up to 35 pounds.
• Operate a motor vehicle in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Act as ambassador for the Parking Authority with residents, visitors and business owners.
• Educate the public on parking regulations and the reasons behind them.
• Respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor areas to enforce parking regulations and ensure fair use.
• Issue citations when necessary and explain the process to drivers.
• Collaborate with local businesses and schools on parking needs.
• Maintain records of citations, warnings and interactions.
• Handle disputes with tact and diplomacy.
