Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person or by phone in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner.
• Operates the POS to ensure accurate sales data, pricing, and information codes on merchandise.
• Ensures proper cash handling of all transactions, including coupons and discounts.
• Explain and support the Change Round-up program to customers.
• Keep front doors, counters, glass, and displays clean; return carts and baskets to proper areas.
• Assist with promotions, including customer information, postings, and sign displays.
• Stock and maintain counter, displays and wrapping areas; keep neat and orderly.
• Follow safety practices and report hazards or injuries to the Team Leader Coach.
• Assist in training new cashiers.
• Restock and rehang apparel and merchandise on the sales floor.
• Adhere to Memphis Goodwill policies, protect against theft, and handle cash receipts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader Coach.
