Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a UK NMC Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Service in Dundee. You will provide nursing care to patients at home and support their carers within a community setting, as part of transforming district nursing.

The role requires travel across Dundee and surrounding areas, with shifts across 7 days between 08:00 and 22:00. You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.

Qualifications

• Must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
• First level adult UK NMC Registered Nurse with a desire to develop your career in the community.
• Willingness to travel across Dundee and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in their homes or community settings.
• Support carers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, within 08:00–22:00.
