Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant for lunch by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Explain chef's specialties; identify wines; answer food preparation questions.
• Stay updated on menu choices and specials.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen; note dietary needs and requests.
• Deliver orders from bar and kitchen; provide condiments and sides.
• Respond to patron needs and observe dining process.
• Maintain table settings and replenish utensils; refill water glasses.
• Open and pour wine at the tableside.
• Process payments and handle bills and cards.
• Contribute to team effort and complete related tasks.
• Perform basic cleaning as directed.
