Job summary

Lead For America’s American Connection Corps activates a local talent pool to serve community organizations tackling digital inclusion, broadband expansion, and workforce development across the United States. Members gain hands‑on experience, on‑the‑job training, and pathways to meaningful local impact.

Placements are primarily in-person and full‑time, with a 40‑hour workweek and a 1700‑hour term. Benefits include a $33,000 living stipend, a $7,395 Segal Education Award, healthcare, childcare

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be 17 years of age or older by the start of service.
• Have not already served four AmeriCorps State/National terms.

Responsibilities

• Work with a local host organization on digital access, broadband expansion, and workforce development initiatives.
• Engage with local leaders to identify opportunities for connection and collaboration.
• Conduct research, outreach, and training to support community projects.
• Build talent pipelines by assisting in project management and partnerships.
