Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Community Dietetic Technician in Cleveland, OH to support the Nourish Food Pantry and provide direct nutritional care under supervision of a Registered Dietitian. You will help ensure meals meet prescribed diets and work with hospital teams to serve patients and community members.

The role emphasizes documentation, diet/order entry, program support, internships, and data analysis using clinical software.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Dietetic Technology required.
DTR certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Serv Safe Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nutritional support to patients and community members under a registered dietitian.
Implement and communicate nutrition care plans with the healthcare team.
Maintain documentation, diet/order entry records, and data in nutrition software.
Serve as liaison between food service staff and clinical/dietitian teams.
Ensure patient meals comply with prescribed diets and communicate changes.
Manage menu entry and update diet/nourishment records.
Contribute to departmental initiatives and projects; support internship programs.
Track productivity and complete required reports; participate in rounds and research.
Perform nutrition analysis, data coding, validation checks, and error correction.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
