Job summary

The Prince George’s County Department of Family Services seeks a Coordinator/Case Manager (Community Developer 1G) to organize, monitor, and ensure services provided by the Case Manager team meet youth and family needs in the CINS program. The role blends administrative tasks with field outreach and handles a 10-15 client caseload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Responsible work experience coordinating group activities, preferably including work with disadvantaged individuals.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 10-15 clients.
• Provide case management services to children, youth, and families referred to through the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) and other child-serving agencies.
• Monitor referrals and assign caseloads to Case Managers.
• Monitor, review, and assist Case Managers.
• Coordinate data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring agencies and community organizations.
