Qualifications

• Experience in community development real estate lending or investing, focused on affordable housing.
• Underwriting LIHTC, public subsidies, and construction/permanent financing structures.
• BA/BS degree required.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to assess risk.
• History of managing multiple transactions and deadlines with disciplined project management.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and maintain client, sponsor, and deal information.
• Support pitch preparation by evaluating deal terms and budgets.
• Prepare LOIs/term sheets with Credit Originator.
• Build draft profitability models with originations team.
• Coordinate due diligence and checklist tracking.
• Facilitate appraisals and third-party reports; manage costs/timelines.
• Coordinate internal stakeholder communications to support onboarding.
• Collect and review required documentation and coordinate KYC.
• Track sponsor exposure, pipeline activity, and deal status.
• Monitor deal progress and escalate closing risks.
