Second Harvest Food Bank in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a Food Bank Delivery Driver (non-CDL) to safely operate refrigerated cargo vans and box trucks, picking up donations and delivering to pantries and partner sites.

This full-time, hourly role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and reliable schedules, with a Monday–Friday routine, occasional early starts, and potential event support; you’ll help move food to families and strengthen the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• Experience driving vehicles comparable to non-CDL box trucks.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport products.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to complete training after hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivering donated food to community pantries, soup kitchens, and partner sites.
• Loading, unloading, and securing products safely.
• Maintaining food safety and refrigeration standards during transport.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.
• Providing exceptional customer service and representing the food bank professionally.
