Job summary

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is looking for an Early Morning Donor Partnership Route Driver to manage local pickups and deliveries of donated foods. This role is crucial for maintaining connections with local food donors and transporting goods consistently.

Candidates should have a valid Ohio Class A-CDL, a high school diploma, and at least two years of truck driving experience. Position also offers a competitive hourly rate of $22 and benefits including paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma and two years of truck driving experience in a grocery or food-related environment.
• Valid Ohio Class A-Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and current medical card.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform local pickups and deliveries of product donations.
• Maintain records of vehicle operations and comply with regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all local and federal motor vehicle regulations.
