Job summary

The Heritage at Brentwood is seeking a full-time Community Courtesy Officer to ensure 24/7 safety and security for residents in a senior living community and skilled nursing facility. This role requires an active Tennessee Unarmed Security license or eligibility and emphasizes hospitality and courtesy in daily interactions with residents and guests.

The shift is 3rd (11:00 pm–7:30 am) including weekends/holidays, with overtime paid at 1.5x and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Unarmed Security Guard/Officer license required or eligible.
• At least 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for sensitive and confidential situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with all customers.

Responsibilities

• Interact with and assist residents, families, employees, vendors, and visitors in a courtesy role.
• Conduct regular patrols inside/outside buildings and around the property.
• Assist nursing staff and emergency responders with wellness checks, emergency calls, and fire alarms.
• Conduct regular fire drills in skilled nursing facility.
• Assist with badge system and door accesses.
• Perform light preventive maintenance duties as assigned.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: 3rd shift (11: 00 pm-7:30 am), including weekends and holidays for 40-48 hours per week

Weekly overtime paid 1 ½ hourly rate; double pay for working holidays

The Heritage at Brentwood is a premier senior living community looking for full-time hospitality-focused Community Courtesy Officer (CCO) to assist residents and serve as a trusted resource for 24/7 safety and security in our senior living community and skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all customers
